Announcing Fort Foundry

Today marks the start of something new–an adventure if you will... I feel incredibly fortunate to have been able to dive head first into type design this past year. It’s truly been a blast to see the response to the type coming out of Hold Fast Foundry. 

In the past few months, a desire welled up to do something more—to connect the digital nature of producing type today with something physical for people to enjoy.

A New Identity

That idea brought about the launch of this new brand, site, and vision. Fort Foundry has now taken the place of Hold Fast Foundry as its shift in this new direction. Fort will without a doubt continue to design type, but the foundry has broadened its scope by adding goods alongside fonts.
